Applications for study year 2025/2026 are open yet, nominations are available. Nominations are not mandatory part of application procedure but we accept them to international@mfdps.si.

Course implementation for Erasmus students

Courses are delivered in a tutorial format, primarily through individual or small group consultations. All courses are conducted in English, including the final assessment. The exam can take one of the following forms: oral examwritten exam, or project-based assignment, depending on the course syllabus and agreement with the lecturer. In addition, international students are warmly invited to attend courses held in Slovene, as a way to encourage integration and foster connections with local students and academic life. Contact your faculties for the possibility of financial support for students with fewer opprotunities.

We require proof of B1-level proficiency in English or higher

We accept English proficiency certificates (English language school certificate), English tests from your faculties (at the department of English language), CEFR scores at B1 level, TOEFL scores at B1 level.

Yes, we can accept it if your faculty coordinator writes an assessment and you attach both documents (graduation scores in English and the faculty coordinator’s assessment).

All courses offered in the course catalogue are carried out in tutorial way in English, meaning that you will have consultations directly with professor in English.

1. Learning agreement. The Learning agreement needs to be filled out by the student and sent through the Online Learning Agreement (OLA) platform, which is available here: https://learning-agreement.eu/
2. One-color photography (passport type).
3.  Curriculum Vitae in English.
4. Proof of insurance (either a European insurance card or any other valid insurance). That can be sent when the stay at ISSBS in Slovenia is officially confirmed.

We suggest you choose from 20 to 30 ECTS.
