At the end of June ISSBS has been hosting for the second time students from the oldest and most prestigious military academy in the USA Virginia Military Institute. The visit was part of a study excursion across Europe named Economics and Politics of the EU, which enables students to complete one course of study during the summer.
Twelve students and three professors have visited ISSBS, including a professor and head of the summer study excursion dr. Valentina Dimitrova Grajžl. During the 10-day stay in Celje they had lectures by prof. dr. Janez Šušteršič and prof. dr. Dušan Lesjak. They also visited Italy, Germany and Belgium, where they had lectures at different faculties and military academies and also visited local sights.
In the framework of the study excursion, we are again expecting to see them at ISSBS in two years.
