Our mission is to enrich the professional development of our students and graduates, and improve their employability by providing high quality, internationally oriented education and research in economics, business and management, and thereby contribute to the development of a knowledge society.

Study programmes in English

Study programmes at ISSBS are focused on the acquisition of quality knowledge. We offer 3-year PhD in Knowledge Management programme in English. Study programme allows for the optimum balance of work and study commitments. Students acquire knowledge of management, business studies, learning and education. The PhD programme also enables research and international publication.

International conference MakeLearn & TIIM

ISSBS organises scientific, professional and student conferences. For years, the well-established and highly successful international scientific conference MakeLearn & TIIM has been encouraging exchange of the latest achievements in management, economics, technology and education. Through the inclusion of experiences of young academics and practitioners from all continents, it stimulates the discussion and exchange of knowledge between academia and the business sector and offers a variety of options for publication.

Activities

Quality

ISSBS strives to continuously improve in all areas of operation. Therefore, monitoring of performance and evaluation of achievements/quality is an important aspect of ISSBS operations. This is achieved by organising the activities properly, monitoring and controlling the key processes, measuring the effectiveness of processes, and their continuous improvement.

Library

The ISSBS library provides free access to study materials and information for study and research purposes. Students can borrow the literature for a maximum of three weeks with a valid student ID card. ISSBS students and teachers have free access to international databases of scientific journals SpringerLink and Proquest. We invite you to make the most of your access to quality literature. Academic press

The academic press publishes, supplies and organises printing of publications related to ISSBS educational and scientific research activities and other projects, as well as scientific and professional work of ISSBS departments, institutes, centres, and staff. These publications strengthen the availability and accessibility of study literature required as part of ISSBS study programmes.
