As part of the Erasmus+ Staff Week, participants from Portugal, the United States, Italy, Kosovo, Thailand, and Argentina visited the Savinjska region incubator, where they learned about its work, key activities, and role in supporting entrepreneurship and the development of innovative ideas.
Representatives of the Incubator presented the programmes, services, and support environment it provides to individuals, start-ups, and other organisations. During the visit, the participants also toured the incubator’s facilities and gained insight into its working methods and the opportunities such a support environment offers to the local community and the wider region.
The presentation was followed by a substantive discussion on the operation of business incubators, the exchange of good practices, and opportunities for further cooperation between higher education institutions, the entrepreneurial environment, and international partners.
The visit gave participants valuable insight into the local support environment for entrepreneurship, while also contributing to the international exchange of knowledge, experience, and ideas. Erasmus+ Staff Week thus represents an important opportunity to strengthen international cooperation, connect institutions, and develop new forms of collaboration in the fields of education, research, and knowledge transfer into practice.
