Leadership Capacities Development in Higher Education across Albania and Kosovo (LEADALKO)
Project purpose
LEADALKO develops leadership capacity in higher education institutions across Albania and Kosovo in governance, strategic planning and management.
Objectives and key activities
The partnership will develop and pilot a joint National Leadership Development Programme, create learning materials and dedicated support facilities, and organise networking, visiting speakers and action learning. Participants will apply their learning through national change projects, supported by staff training workshops.
Role of ISSBS
ISSBS co-leads WP1 with Beder University and supports project management, quality assurance and progress monitoring. As a European partner, it contributes expertise to the leadership programme, participant training, transfer of good practices, evaluation and dissemination.
Expected results
- a joint National Leadership Development Programme and supporting materials;
- at least 25 trained higher education leaders during the project;
- an annual leadership symposium and transfer of the programme to additional higher education institutions.
