Dr. Srečko Natek has been an associate professor in Business Informatics since 2004. He served as Dean of ISSBS (MFDPŠ) from 2007 and as Assistant Director of Nova Vizija d.d. in Žalec until his retirement in 2024. He graduated in 1978 from the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Maribor, specializing in Business Informatics, focusing on the development of business information systems. In 1985, he completed his master’s degree, and in 1991, he earned his Ph.D. in methodologies for developing business information systems from the same institution.
In his professional career, he contributed to numerous IT projects as an analyst, consultant, and project manager at Konus Slovenske Konjice, Tam Iveco Maribor, and Nova Vizija d.d. Žalec, particularly in the development and implementation of business information systems, especially within manufacturing environments and data warehouses. His practical experience is complemented by his academic research in business informatics and business intelligence.
