Špela Dermol is an assistant and project collaborator at the International School for Social and Business Studies (ISSBS), where she actively participates in various international projects. Her work includes organizing and participating in conferences and project activities, particularly focusing on project content and implementation. Additionally, she is involved in developing digital content, producing video materials, and graphic design.
Apart from her work at ISSBS, Špela also serves as a research assistant at the Institute for Pulp and Paper (ICP) in Ljubljana. She is also employed as a graphic designer at her family business, Dermol Digital Business Solutions, where she creates graphic materials, promotional content, and websites.
In 2023, Špela earned a master’s degree in Graphic and Interactive Communications from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, University of Ljubljana, where her research focused on sustainable materials and technologies, including 3D technologies. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Graphic and Interactive Communications in 2020 at the same university. For her master’s thesis, she was awarded the Faculty Prešeren Award.
She is currently pursuing a PhD, focusing her research on sustainability, environmental challenges, advancements in eco-technologies, and the development of sustainable materials and packaging.
