Monika Iršič is an assistant at ISSBS (International School for Social and Business Studies).
In 2017, she completed her undergraduate studies in Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Maribor, earning the title of Bachelor of Law (UN). Two years later, she successfully defended her master’s thesis, titled Employee Buyouts in Slovenian Law, and completed her master’s degree in Civil and Commercial Law at the European Faculty of Law at New University, earning the title of Master of Civil and Commercial Law.
Her professional journey began during her law studies, where she gained practical experience alongside theoretical knowledge by working in a law firm, where she is now employed. During this time, she also developed organizational skills through her involvement in youth organizations and served as a tutor for the course Commercial Contract Law, honing her mentoring and teaching abilities. In addition to her legal education, she gained experience working in the Municipal Election Commission and the municipal council, where she developed decision-making skills, financial management expertise, and public representation abilities. Her appearances before courts further enhance her analytical skills, quick understanding of facts and legal issues, and their impact on the proceedings, as well as her public speaking, persuasive expression, and argumentation skills.
