Dr. Andreja Barle Lakota earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in sociology from the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana and completed her Ph.D. in sociology at the Faculty of Arts in Maribor. Throughout her professional career, she has been involved in teaching and developmental-research work in the field of education. She has taught at all levels of education, including primary and secondary schools, as well as at several universities. For many years, she was a course leader at the Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security, the Faculty of Arts in Maribor, and at MFDPŠ. Her professional work has focused primarily on the development of education at the systemic and curricular levels.
