The International School for Social and Business Studies (ISSBS) carried out a national seminar entitled “Promoting entrepreneurship in primary schools” on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, as part of the project LittleBigEnterpreneurs (LBE) – LittleBigEntrepreneurs – Design Thinking and Gaming Applied to Entrepreneurship Education. The seminar was attended by a total of 60 participants, most of whom were teachers of Slovenian primary schools.
The project includes a number of activities aimed at promoting entrepreneurship in schools. Such activity was also a national seminar aimed at promoting the project and exchanging good practices in the field of promoting entrepreneurship in primary schools.
The national seminar was conducted by the partner institutions of the project, namely the Primary School borcev za severno mejo from Maribor and the ISSBS from Celje, and in cooperation with partner organizations from Estonia, Portugal, and Greece.
Dr. Nada Trunk Širca and mag. Anica Novak Trunk from the ISSBS presented the entire project, which explores so-called design thinking in children and young people and promotes an entrepreneurial mindset. Dr. Valerij Dermol (ISSBS) and dr. Gonçalo Meireles (Advancis, Portugal) presented the LBE digital game, which is one of the specific objectives of the project. The partner institutions presented the learning activities of their institutions that promote entrepreneurship.
