As part of the celebration of Erasmus days 2022, ISSBS has held two virtual events on 14 October 2022, with which we’ve presented individual mobilities and project activities of the Erasmus+ program to our students, as well as to a wider audience.

We carried out the event:
– From Erasmus Students for Erasmus Students
– Inclusion of Project Activities in Education, Research and Community Involvement of a HEI: Case of ISSBS

At the first event, the MFDPŠ mobility coordinator presented the possibilities of international study mobility abroad (for study or practice). Also included were video statements and impressions of past Erasmus+ students of MFDPŠ, who shared their experiences and advice. The participants received valuable and important advice for international mobility from past Erasmus students. Together, we found that the Erasmus experience develops the competencies necessary for an independent and sophisticated life. It helps participants find their place in society. Self-confidence, adaptability, openness, mutual understanding and solidarity are just some examples of what we can gain from the Erasmus+ experience.

The second event Inclusion of Project Activities in Education, Research and Community Involvement of a HEI: Case of ISSBS was held by dr. Nada Trunk Širca and Dr. Valerij Dermol and presented international projects of MFDPŠ, their results, useful experiences and new insights. 29 participants took part in the event, of which 4 were foreign participants or project representatives. MFDPŠ students are also involved in projects where the projects are related to MFDPŠ courses. The results of these activities are monographs published by the international publishing house ToKnowPress. Project activities also improve the institution’s overall governance, financial management and employee experience.
