PUŠ MFDPŠ 2025/2026: Problem-Based Learning by ISSBS Students: Developing Sustainable Solutions in Tourism, Industry and Culture
Project purpose
The project connected ISSBS students with the workplace and enabled interdisciplinary teams to address real organisational challenges. It focused on sustainable solutions in tourism, industry and culture, while developing practical, digital and collaborative competences.

Objectives and key activities
Three sub-projects were implemented. With ZPO Celje, students explored the forest-therapy potential of the Savinja region and opportunities for wellbeing tourism. With odelo Slovenia, they developed circular solutions for packaging and other materials in the automotive industry. With the Institute for Culture, Tourism and Development Rogatec, they designed experiences and digital trails for young visitors to the Rogatec Open-Air Museum. The results were publicly presented on 19 June 2026.
Role of ISSBS
ISSBS led the project, connected students with academic and workplace mentors, and coordinated research, solution development and the public presentation. The ISSBS project leader was Assistant Professor Vesna Skrbinjek.
Expected results
