Upscaling Graduates’ Employability Tracking through the implementation of special Dual Career paths in Botswana and Eswatini (UPSCALE)

Project purpose
UPSCALE improves graduate employability tracking and develops dedicated dual-career pathways in Botswana and Eswatini. It helps higher education institutions understand graduates’ transitions into the labour market and design support that connects study, sport or other professional pathways with employer needs.
Objectives and key activities
The partners analyse existing practices and needs, develop and pilot graduate-tracking systems and dual-career models, strengthen digital and institutional capacity, and train staff in career guidance and data use. The project engages employers and public stakeholders, pilots new solutions and prepares recommendations for long-term implementation.
Role of ISSBS
ISSBS participates as a European expert partner in research, transfer of good practices and capacity building. It contributes to graduate-tracking systems, dual-career pathways, training, career guidance and recommendations, and supports quality assurance and dissemination.
