The International School for Social and Business Studies is hosting doctoral student Tahiyyah Rashid from its partner institution, the University of Salerno in Italy, as part of international academic cooperation.
Tahiyyah Rashid is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Economics and Statistics at the University of Salerno, where she is enrolled in the doctoral programme Economics and Policy Analysis of Markets and Firms. She is currently in her third academic year, conducting research focused on statistical models for learning foreign languages.
As part of her doctoral studies, she is undertaking a six-month research visit at the International School for Social and Business Studies. The mobility represents an important part of her doctoral research and is intended for academic and research activities related to the preparation of her Ph.D. thesis.
During her stay at ISSBS, Tahiyyah Rashid is working on her Ph.D. thesis under the supervision of Prof. Kristijan Breznik, in close cooperation with her Italian mentor, Prof. Marialuisa Restaino. She is involved in research work, academic meetings, and other academic activities at the faculty.
Hosting a doctoral student from a partner institution is an important contribution to strengthening the international research environment at ISSBS. Such mobilities support the exchange of knowledge, the development of shared research interests, and the deepening of cooperation between higher education institutions.
