Since 2007, Dr. Marko Zebec Koren has been lecturing on Management and Organization as a Senior Lecturer at MFDPŠ. For nearly a quarter of a century, he has been introducing the tradition and method of management games into the Slovenian academic environment. Between 2002 and 2009, he designed and taught the university course on Management Games at the Faculty of Social Sciences. He continues to lecture and conduct workshops on this topic as part of the Erasmus+ program at universities and colleges across Europe, the Maghreb, and the Middle East.

Dr. Zebec Koren graduated with a degree in Sociology from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ljubljana in 1992. He earned his scientific master’s degree in Information Management Sciences from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Ljubljana in 1998, and his doctoral dissertation focused on relationship models in IT outsourcing, which he defended in 2010, also at the University of Ljubljana.

Between 2017 and 2024, he focused on the area of privacy and artificial intelligence methods in healthcare while serving as the Data Protection Officer at UKC Ljubljana.

Since 2024, he has been leading extensive national digital healthcare projects at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Slovenia.
