Lang. Instr. M.A.Katarina Čander Podgoršek

Mag. Katarina Čander Podgoršek graduated in English and German from the Faculty of Education in Maribor in 2000 and earned her master’s degree in economics from the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana in 2007. She has 24 years of experience teaching both foreign languages at various professional levels. Her teaching focus is on adults, particularly professionals in various sectors, such as lawyers, entrepreneurs, high school students, and university students, emphasizing the development of language skills in business and specialized settings. She has been employed at ISSBS since its inception in 2008, where she teaches business English at the undergraduate level. She regularly participates in further education, both domestically and abroad. In addition to teaching, she is also involved in translation and proofreading of foreign languages, particularly in the fields of economics, environmental protection, healthcare, technical sciences, and law. As a translator and educator, she actively collaborates with local institutions and companies.
