Study Tailored for Working Professionals
The schedule is designed for working students, allowing them to balance their work obligations with the study process. This creates an environment that promotes maintaining a balance between work and study life.
Lectures are held from 4:30 PM onward, 2-3 times per week, or on Saturday mornings.

The Master’s program in Knowledge Management is an applied, modern, multidisciplinary, and internationally comparable program that prepares students for leadership and other responsible positions in the public or private sector, in profit or non-profit activities. It enables students to continue their careers in areas where knowledge and its management are key factors in planning, operation, decision-making, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Graduates of Knowledge Management are qualified for responsible positions in the public and private sectors, in profit and non-profit activities, where knowledge and its management are central to decision-making, operations, and communication with various internal and external audiences. The acquired competencies allow for positions in management and other responsible roles in all business or organizational functions of companies and other organizations.
The study program provides students with knowledge in planning, work scheduling, and decision-making in business operations and management. The program encourages skills in collaborative and team-based approaches to work. The acquired knowledge is based on understanding and applying knowledge management systems, recognizing organizational characteristics, using methods and tools to analyze organizations and external environments, applying appropriate information tools for market analysis, analyzing human resources environments, using complex research methods, etc.
The academic year at ISSBS is divided into three trimesters, during which students take 2 to 3 courses per trimester. Each trimester lasts 10 weeks, followed by an exam period. At the end of the academic year, there is an additional exam period that allows students to complete any remaining exams. More information can be found in the academic calendar. Meetings for the Master’s program in Knowledge Management are held during the week in the afternoon, starting at 4:30 PM, and take place 2-3 times a week. Most of the sessions are held at the faculty premises in Celje, while some are conducted remotely via the Zoom video conferencing system and the Moodle e-classroom.
