On 12 and 13 April 2022, the 10th Erasmus + project meeting of the DigiVET project – e-learning for digital media competencies for small and medium-sized enterprises to enable learning in the workplace was held in Piran, organized by the ISSBS (dr. Nada Trunk Širca, dr. Valerij Dermol and Alenka Dermol).
The meeting was attended by representatives of all participating partner institutions from Portugal (Cecoa – Centro de Formação Profissional Para o Comércio e Afins), Austria (Hafelekar Unternehmensberatung Schober GMBH), Slovenia (MFDPŠ), Romania (Fundatia Pentru Promovarea Intreprinderilor Mici si Mijlocii Brasov), Germany (ISOB) and Turkey (Gazi University).
The main goal of the project is to improve learning opportunities for low-skilled employees by learning in the workplace through the development of skills of competent use of digital learning media by trainers in small and medium-sized enterprises.
We will achieve this through:
- support provided by digital media instructors
- training of trainers in smaller companies
- preparation of teaching materials enabling e-learning
The project also plans to develop 4 intellectual products:
1. Competence matrix for teaching digital learning based on state-of-the-art and best practices in the workplace and the use of digital media in small businesses;
2. Development of a handbook on media competencies for coaches of small in small and medium-sized enterprises;
3. Handbook and video guidelines for SMEs and VET providers leading the training of low-skilled and weaker-speaking employees;
4. Development of an online learning platform and user community.
