As part of the Erasmus days 2020 celebration, ISSBS has carried out two virtual events, which took place in ZOOM environment, the first entitled From Erasmus students for Erasmus students and the second International Erasmus + project challenges and learning opportunities.

Previous Erasmus student Ana has also joined the presentation and as an Erasmus ambassador addressed the participants. Together, we have found that the Erasmus experience develops a European identity that complements our local, regional and national identity and develops the competencies needed for an independent and perfected life. It helps participants find their place in society. Self-confidence, flexibility, openness, mutual understanding and solidarity are just some of the examples of what we can gain from the Erasmus + experience.

The second event, entitled International Erasmus + project challenges and learning opportunities, was organized by dr. Nada Trunk Širca and dr. Valerij Dermol and presented the international projects of ISSBS, their results, useful experiences and new findings. The CISOTRA project (Civil Society for social inclusion of unaccompanied minors in transition to adulthood – learning communities for shaping transition interfaces) was particularly highlighted during the event.
