International iHiLEAD project – 1st meeting of partners from Slovenia, the UK, Spain and Indonesia

On March 1 and 2, 2021, the first partnership meeting of the international project iHiLEAD – Indonesian Higher Education Leadership took place in virtual form.

The project involves three European higher education institutions, namely the University of Gloucestershire (UK), the ISSBS (Slovenia), the University of Granada (Spain), seven Indonesian higher education institutions and the Indonesian Ministry of Higher Education.

The ISSBS part of the project will be managed and coordinated by ISSBS professor dr. Nada Trunk Širca.

The basic goal of the project is to develop and implement a proven training program for university and higher education management in Indonesia. Increasing leadership capacity  will strengthen strategic planning and governance at Indonesian universities towards modernizing the higher education sector.

Prof. Nizam – Director General of Higher Education, Vincent Piket – EU Ambassador to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam and dr. David Dawson, iHiLead project manager from the University of Gloucestershire carried out the project Opening Remarks and Press Conference.
