The focus of this initial meeting was a detailed presentation of the summer school&#8217;s content, schedule, and the commencement of the first lectures.<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, we covered:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Presentation of ISSBS as the organizer of the Summer School<\/li>\n<li>Presentation of the Summer School concept<\/li>\n<li>Introduction of professors from Slovenia, Romania, Portugal, and Poland<\/li>\n<li>Moodle e-classroom<\/li>\n<li>Organization of group work<\/li>\n<li>Definition of innovation<\/li>\n<li>Business Model Canvas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Two more virtual meetings are planned in June, on the 13th and 20th, followed by another meeting just before the physical part of the program on August 23, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The physical part of the Summer School will take place in September, from September 2 to 6, 2024, in Slovenia.<\/p>\n<p>Students from various institutions are included in this year&#8217;s Summer School:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>International School for Social and Business Studies, Slovenia (Coordinator and Host Institution)<\/li>\n<li>School of Management and Technology, Portugal (Partner Institution)<\/li>\n<li>The Politehnica University of Timisoara, Romania<\/li>\n<li>Marie Curie Sklodowska University, Poland (Partner Institution)<\/li>\n<li>Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), Poland (Partner Institution)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The content of the Summer School includes workshops focused on digital innovation, culminating in a business model for a Slovenian company.<\/p>\n<p>The participation of various international institutions provides students with valuable experiences and insights into the field of digital innovation and entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Thursday, June 6, 2024, we successfully held the first virtual meeting of the Summer School Digital Frontiers: Tech Innovations in Entrepreneurship.
