{"id":12918,"date":"2022-04-15T10:54:01","date_gmt":"2022-04-15T08:54:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mfdps.si\/?p=12918"},"modified":"2022-04-15T10:54:01","modified_gmt":"2022-04-15T08:54:01","slug":"the-12th-kome-student-conference-14-april-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mfdps.si\/en\/the-12th-kome-student-conference-14-april-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"The 12th KoME Student Conference &#8211; 14 April 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Student Council of the ISSBS has successfully conducted the <strong>12th student conference on intergenerational cooperation at first employment, understanding personal finances, and entering the entrepreneurial path<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The organizational threads of the conference were again in the hands of the <strong>ISSBS Student Council<\/strong>, which emphasizes the need to cooperate and connect generations in the current social situation, build good interpersonal relationships, and empower individuals with knowledge of understanding personal finances in new employment and possible entry on an independent entrepreneurial path.<\/p>\n<p>The following interesting guests took part in the conference:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Consultant in the field of intergenerational cooperation and <strong>director of the Prosum Institute, mag. Mihaela Ke\u017eman,<\/strong> presented the values, knowledge, and history of different generations currently working in the labor market and highlighted t. i. generational conflict. Together, we found that companies still place too little emphasis on intergenerational management and that in Slovenia, due to the aging population and the consequent smaller working population, the intergenerational relationship has been broken. More and more countries are aware of the importance of intergenerational cooperation based on intergenerational learning. It ensures the transfer and exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of work and solidarity between the generations.<\/li>\n<li>Insurance consultant at Generali d. d. and ISSBS graduate, <strong>Tina Hriber\u0161ek<\/strong>, mag. manag., presented non-life and personal insurance and defined the specifics of individual insurance on the examples of good and bad practices.<\/li>\n<li>Financial advisor <strong>Barbara Ram\u0161ak<\/strong>, director of the Delavska hranilnica\u00a0d. d. business unit and an ISSBS student, presented personal account management. She emphasized the importance of managing personal finances, such as personal accounts, savings and investments, and loans, as they have a major impact on future lives. She emphasizes the importance of diversification of assets and advises on long-term as well as short-term investment planning.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hana Fide\u0161ek,<\/strong> mag. manag, ISSBS graduate, and accountant at Eko Line Trade d. o. o., presented an understanding of the calculation of salaries, expenses, and taxation of remuneration in Slovenia.<\/li>\n<li><strong>mag. Tatjana \u0160tinek<\/strong> from the Regional Chamber of Crafts and Entrepreneurship of Celje presented the SPOT system and a supportive environment for entrepreneurship in the form of entrepreneurial consulting, information, training, networking, and visits to good practices and services in the field of internationalization. At the same time, she emphasized that the activities of SPOTs are necessary to support potential entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as to connect various institutions and establish partnerships to promote entrepreneurship at the local and regional levels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At the conference, which developed into a constructive debate, we received a wealth of concrete and, above all, useful information that will be needed by every new job seeker or a person who is deciding on an independent entrepreneurial path.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Together with guests, students, professors, and other participants, the conference, which took place in the Zoom environment, was attended by as many as 57 participants,&#8221; said Luka Seme, President of the Student Council of the
