The international Blended Intensive Program (BIP)
Green Innovative Moving Entrepreneurship – GIME
The BIP will be held from 4 to 14 September 2023 at International School for Social and Business Studies.
An obligatory virtual event will take place: 2 pre-meetings via ZOOM, one in the middle of June and the other approx. 10 days before the start of the BIP.

The BIP will be implemented in partnership with these institutions:
- International School for Social and Business Studies, Celje, Slovenia
- School of Management and Technology of Felgueiras, Portugal
- The Politehnica University of Timisoara, Romania
- New Bike company, Celje, Slovenia
BIP will be practically oriented with participating students creating a business idea with the key focus on practical development of creative thinking and the creation of innovations in the field of entrepreneurship with the aim of identifying, creating, and developing international business opportunities in the field of sustainable mobility.
The goal of the BIP : to prepare a business model for the company in Slovenia such as the New Bike brand, a company which among other activities, includes in its offer selling and renting of an urban electric bicycle. The company is oriented towards the future and ensuring sustainable mobility in Slovenia.
Venue: at the International School for Social and Business Studies Celje, Slovenia.
Date:
Physical part: 4 to 14 September 2023.
Virtual part: 2 pre-meetings via ZOOM, one in the middle of June and the other about 10 days before the start of the Summer school
ECTS credits: Earn 6 ECTS while having fun in international environment.
Lecturers: The professors will be introduced soon on this web page.
Schedule: The course will consist of 9 days in total.
The suggested timeframe of the BIP is 4 – 14 September 2023, some small changes might occur.
The virtual component is obligatory and it will be implemented before physical mobility and after the physical mobility.

BIP participant: BIP combines short-term physical mobility with a virtual component.
The BIP is intended for the 1st cycle students.
Students who participate in BIP can maintain their study plans at their home institution and include BIP as a parallel activity.
The sending institution’s International Relations offices will provide information and support to students for physical mobility.
BIP grant and application: Students will receive support for physical mobility from their sending institutions: 70 Eur per day.
Students with fewer opportunities may receive travel support.
Students who do not receive travel support can opt for green travel. In this case, they will receive a single contribution of 50 EUR as a top-up amount to the individual support and up to 4 days of additional individual support to cover travel days for a return trip, if relevant.
Students can apply until 15 August 2023.
The maximum number of participants of BIP is limited to 30.
All applicants will receive the information on admission to the course before 2 June 2023.

Accommodation: Accommodation and travel costs for the physical event in Celje, Slovenia are covered by participants with their BIP grant.
The International School for Social and Business Studies recommends low cost accommodation at “MCC Hostel” (Mariborska cesta 2, Celje). Please send to MCC Hostel an email with the subject matter: BIP-ISSBS to reserve the room. Also a possibility of low-cost breakfast and dinner at MCC Hostel.
Alternatively Hotel Faraon.
Participants can enjoy low-cost meals at the restaurant in the ISSBS building Cafeteria Stolpič.
Coffee and snacks will be provided by the host institution while for meals a couple of partner restaurants will be indicated for a cheap and quick lunch.
Additional activities: Additional activities will be organized for example: welcome party, trips around Celje and Slovenia.
The organizers may, however, charge fees for extra-curricular activities, such as cultural visits, and trips not directly related to the topic of the program.
