In cooperation with the partner university of Kasetsart University from Thailand and the local company Šumer d.o.o. ISSBS has ensured the implementation of summer Internship of Thai student. Company Šumer d.o.o. has been hosting, from 3 June to 31 July 2019, a Thai industrial engineering student, Vasinee Unchit.
Vasinee summed up her current internship and life in Celje and Slovenia with the following words. “During my internship, I was working at various departments of the company which support production, for example technology department, quality, measurement and planning department and IT department. I even participated in the development of a project that relates to improving work stations and increasing productivity.” Training at Sumer is a student’s first independent experience of working abroad. If the beginning of the internship has been accompanied by concern, Vasine now sees that it was completely redundant. The employees in the company accepted her very nicely and were always ready to help her. “Internship at Sumer d.o.o. in Slovenia has really been a great experience for me. I am grateful for new life experiences and above all work experience. “
