In cooperation with partner university Kasetsart University of Thailand, International School for Social and Business Studies is participating in the implementation of summer internship with the Slovenian company Gorenje d.o.o. The internship is being implemented from 1 June to 31 July 2018, as two Thai students are performing practical training at Gorenje. Pinyarat Rujirojampai and Sasakorn Tririthvilai are students of international undergraduate program Industrial Engineering at the Kasetsart University in Bangkok.
Student Pinyarat summed up her experience of doing her internship at Gorenje with the following words: “Practicing in Slovenia at Gorenje is a great experience for me, people here are so friendly. I am grateful for new life experiences and above all work experience. I met many new things. For example, learn how to make a benchmark and define product information. In the Marketing Department, I learned how to promote a brand in social networks and how to advertise a product. In industrial engineering, however, I learned how to do 5S methodology, KANBAN, KAIZEN. Among all the activities I learned most from Gorenje’s production systems, where I could see the whole production system in Gorenje from the first hand. I would like to thank ISSBS, as well as the company Gorenje for this excellent opportunity. “
