Closing event within the project “Jordan Opportunity for Virtual Innovative Teaching and Learning” (JOVITAL).

On Wednesday, March 23, 2021, an online event within the project “Jordan Opportunity for Virtual Innovative Teaching and Learning” (JOVITAL) took place.

The content of the event was based on the presentation of the results and the impact of the project on the universities of Jordan and other southern Mediterranean countries. This was followed by an online workshop where students or project participants presented their testimonials and project findings.

The JOVITAL project operated in the period 2017–2021, the aim of which was to offer higher education institutions in Jordan the opportunity to research and implement innovative academic practices to improve the quality of teaching and improve learning outcomes.

JOVITAL was implemented by 4 European institutions, including ISSBS, and 5 Jordanian universities. The leading organisation is Technische Universität Dresden (TUD), Germany. At the ISSBS, the project was managed by dr. Nada Trunk Širca.
