From 16 to 18 May 2018, International School for Social and Business Studies (Slovenia) and Pegaso Online University (Italy) with partners organized the MakeLearn & TIIM 2018 international scientific conference in Naples, Italy. The title of the conference was “Integrated Economy and Society: Diversity, Creativity and Technology”. The conference was attended by over 200 participants from 31 countries who presented 182 conference papers.
Conference programme also featured Academic Leadership Forum with 10 distinguished academics, Editors’ Panel with 5 editors-in-chief of Scopus-Indexed and WoS journals and 17 editors and guests from other journals, Research-Education-Business Forum with 14 panelists from business sector and academia and Exhibition of Journals. Post-conference programme included Seminar on Starting/Developing an International Journal and a Workshop on Publishing for Young Researchers.
MakeLearn & TIIM conference encourages sharing of most recent developments in the fields of management, economics, technology, and education. By including experiences and young academics and practitioners from all continents, it also encourages discussion and the exchange of knowledge between academia and businesses (formal sessions and social events) and offers a variety publishing opportunities. This year’s focus was oriented into topics such as diversity, creativity, and technology supporting the flow of goods, services, and factors of production between and among the countries and nations.
