11th International Scientific Conference MakeLearn & TIIM 2021

Between 20 and 21 May 2021, the International School for Social and Business Studies, together with foreign partner universities, successfully held the 11th international conference MakeLearn & TIIM entitled “Economy for a New Normal: Digitization and Human Relations in Business and Education” .

This year’s focus was mainly on the economy and society in the world after the pandemic and the “new normality”. The main topics of the conference were digitalization and changes in interpersonal relationships in business and education.

Due to the Covid-19 virus epidemic, the conference was held entirely in the e-environment this year as well. The conference was attended by 203 participants, authors, speakers and listeners from 25 countries, who presented 74 conference papers.

The keynote speaker of the conference was dr. Jay Liebowitz of Seton Hall University (USA) who presented a speech entitled Analytics + Intuition = Success !. The conference program also included a Academic Leadership Forum entitled How can we shape higher education institutions to respond to future trends in the post-pandemic world ?, a  , promotion of academic journals and Research-Education-Business Forum Acceleration of Digitization through COVID-19; How it leads to a faster geographical shift and change of local labor composition with eight speakers from the business and higher education sector and academies.

The MakeLearn & TIIM conference promotes the exchange of the latest achievements in the fields of management, economics, technology and education. By involving experience and young academics and practitioners from all continents, it encourages discussion and knowledge exchange between academia and business (formal meetings and social events) and offers a variety of opportunities for publication.
